What is Project Graduation?
Project Graduation is the annual after-graduation celebration for the newest graduates of West Shore High School. It is an exciting night of fun, food, music, and prizes in a drug and alcohol free environment. The goal of Project Graduation is to keep our children and our community safe by providing a sensational, substance-free evening that every graduate will want to attend. The tremendous success of Project Graduation at West Shore High School is evidenced by the increasing attendance each year to the event. This success can be attributed to the generous support and backing received within the West Shore High School community - the parents, school facility, churches, businesses, restaurants, community service organizations and alumni who care enough to make a difference in the lives of our young people. West Shore High School’s Project Graduation is part of a nationally developed program that is guided in Brevard County by Prevent! Of Brevard. Planning is done by our own West Shore High School Graduation committee. All money to support it is generated within the community. It will be held May 18, 2012 at Pro-Health & Fitness Center off Sheridan Road in Melbourne.
